(I cleaned up the caps after this picture as they appear above. I did one rainbow bottle, one with letters from Brayden's name and one with glow in the dark beads.)
This was honestly more difficult than I thought it would be. My advice is do NOT use a ton of glitter. I used a little too much and it's a little hard to see the beads. Also, get the cap on quickly. Put the hot glue at the bottom so you can screw the cap all the way on. See how mine don't look all the way on? I had to take the caps off and reglue. Save yourself the pain and do it right the first time! Haha. The site didn't have tips so this is what I ended up with. I think Brayden will still like them! Hell, he likes empty bottles so.... yeah.....
Seriously, Pinterest is probably the coolest, craftiest site ever. I LOVE this craft!

ReplyDeleteCute, Elizabeth loves praying with bottles. She gets the tops of of everything though, wonder if the hot glue would hold up with her? Let me know how Brayden likes them.
ReplyDeleteHe takes the tops off everything too. He can even get child proof caps some times. He LOVES the glitter bottles! They will entertain him for well over an hour. Haha.
