4 month old update!

Doctor appointment went well. He got his 4 month shots. He screamed but calmed quickly. Momma's little trooper. His Dr. wants him to eat some solids now. :)


Birth: 8 pounds 12 ounces and 22 inches
1 month old: 11 pounds and 23 inches
2 months old: 14 pounds and 24 1/2 inches
3 months old: 16 pounds and 25 1/2 inches
4 months old: 18 pounds and 26 inches

loves "the itsy bitsy spider"

is "aware" of the camera now and follows it when pictures are taken of him

has brown eyes (they just stopped being dark gray)

stares intently at you without blinking

leans towards you when he is staring at you

puts anything and everything directly into his mouth

sticks his tongue out constantly

makes a "monkey" face

wears size 3 diapers

wears 6-9 month clothes

still has short legs though 3-6 pants

often gets mistaken for a much older baby

or mistaken for a girl because his pretty hair

is losing hair on the sides and back

has tons of hair on top though!

sat up on his own for 30 seconds

tries to sit up from a laying down position ie: baby crunches

smiles a lot but giggles rarely 

looks confused or very focused most of the time

at night usually sleeps for 8-12 hours without waking

scoots everywhere

can roll from back to side

loves his jumperoo and playmat

ate baby food for the first time

banana baby food is his favorite

makes a "pft" or farting noise with his mouth like his daddy does to him

is still teething but no sign of teeth popping through

loves watching daddy play video games

can hold toys well 

knows what to do with most toys now ie: spin things that you have to spin

finally can stand car rides without screaming his face off

loves standing... when you hold his hands, of course

is possibly bipolar ie: literally goes from smile to pout, pout to smile
