Easy ham and cheese quiche

I got an awesome quiche/tart pan for a review. My family loves quiche. Of course they are very simple so they love ham and cheese. They aren't much into broccoli cheese, quiche lorraine, quiche florentine. 😂 I serve it with a side of fruit or vegetables. It's perfect for breakfast, lunch, brunch, dinner. It's so versatile!

1 cup cubed ham
1 pie crust dough
1 cup of half and half
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups of mild cheddar cheese (swiss would be great too)
Salt and pepper to taste

- Bake pie crust. Preheat the oven to 350 and bake the pie crust for 10 minutes.
- Mix ingredients together in a bowl. I mix eggs and half and half. Then, mix in the ham, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Pour everything into the partially baked pie crust, set the pie on a baking sheet, and bake for 50 minutes!

I LOVE this pan. It was so easy to use. The quiche popped out easily when it was done. I want to use this pan for tarts, cookie cakes, and others desserts. Absolutely recommend it!

Tea light lamp makeover

I am mildly obsessed with painting things lately. So I've gone into shops locally looking for things to either paint or just incorporate into our house. I went into a little antique shop and found this tea light lamp for $20. It's VERY heavy and sturdy. It was dirty and a brownish color. I believe at some point it was probably an off-white but it just looked really old. So I gave it a fresh clean look. I have really been looking for bird houses or tea light holders. I was unwilling to pay for something that was really cheap looking but cost a lot.

DIY farmhouse planter (Dollar Tree and Wal-Mart)

I admit it I have a bad habit of laying in my bed at night and looking up DIY farmhouse decor. Obviously fantasizing on how I can create it myself. Also admittedly I do not have a green thumb. I have bought many plants and many plants have met their demise because of me. So I like to stick to  fake plants.

DIY: Decorative egg platter for less than $5

I have been checking Pinterest, Instagram, and more for cute Easter decor ideas. I have been seeing a lot of decorative egg trays. They don't necessarily seem to be using them for deviled eggs. They seem like more of a display. I saw a plastic egg tray at Dollar Tree. I grabbed it up and immediately had plans for it. I sprayed it front and back with Kilz chalk spray paint (from Wal-mart).  It only took one coat on each side. After I sprayed it I noticed that there is a little hole at the top of it. I didn't really like how it looked so I decided that my bunny needed a bow. I got a little easel from Dollar Tree. I proudly displayed it on our new TV stand. Obviously I'm not going to use this for deviled eggs since it would definitely be toxic. I'm just going to keep it as a display. I absolutely love how it turned out.

Cost: $2. I already had the spray paint so I didn't include it in the cost. It's around $6 for a can. It's so worth it. I also used it for two more projects that I will be posting soon. I already had the ribbon too. So basically I just paid $2 for the tray and easel. Your cost may be a little more if you have to buy paint and ribbon.

Bare It All micellar tonic

I'll admit it, I feel like I should forever be on my game when it comes to my skin care since I am a Perfectly Posh influencer. That is not always the case, especially when I push myself past my bedtime because I want some quiet without my kids. 😂 Sometimes quite frankly I just get lazy. I never go a day without washing my face but that doesn't mean I go through my whole routine every single day. There are days where I just want to get my face clean and go to bed. Those are the days that I use Bare It All micellar tonic. The best thing about this product is you only need a few drops for your whole face. I have had this bottle for months. The tonic acts like a magnet. It removes dirt, grime, makeup, and more from your skin. Check out how dirty that cotton pad is. 😷 The amazing thing is I didn't even wear makeup yesterday. Isn't that gross? That is just the dirt and grime that accumulated on my face throughout the day. This tonic is a MUST HAVE. You can use it as a makeup remover, face wash, and moisturizer. One step and you are done. I am grateful that I have something like this for the days that I don't have the energy to do my whole routine.

Tv stand upcycle

I have been redoing furniture for a while. I do not attempt insanely fancy things like distressing. I know I would jack that up. I have painted a few things around our house. Chalk paint is definitely my go to. It doesn't require sanding. It paints easily. It cleans off surfaces it gets on. Best of all it makes for gorgeous pieces. Kilz is my go to brand. I did a little poll on my Instagram and Facebook asking if I should go with white or grey. Most said grey. Rj agreed grey would be best because white gets dirty easy. So off I went to find light grey. We already have pieces in dark grey (Kilz Poppyseed). I found the perfect shade. Kilz Platinum Ring. I love how it turned out! So here is the piece:

Before and after of our new tv stand. We got it for free. 🎉 I have been looking for something to replace our cheap tv stand. So this whole project took $20 for the paint and that's it. I already had brushes and wax.

Here is the before and after of our tv area in general. I hated that stand but it served us well for a while. I love the new stand so much! What do you think?
