This is extremely sad. :(

A guy I know told me today that he was flying back to FL when his plane had to make an emergency landing. He said he was really upset that he was going to be late until he found out what happen. That was until he saw someone carrying a lifeless baby's body off the plane. He was the same age as Brayden, ten months. When he told me I started crying.

A dad on the way back from Afganistan picked up his wife, five year old daughter and ten month old son. They were flying to see the kid's grandparents. The boy somehow got a peanut and began to choke. There were no doctors, no nurses and no one on the plane that could really help. The flight attendants tried to help but nothing saved him. The emergency landing took over twenty minutes. It was too late.

He doesn't know whether the baby just choked or if it was an allergic reaction. Either way, I can not even begin to imagine the pain. :/ I am crying while I type this. I cried while I texted it to my husband. I am so thankful for Brayden and the rest of my family.

Life is amazingly scary how fast someone or something can just go away. Today, I am really counting my blessings and I hope you are too.

  3. That is so horrible! I'm totally bawling now too :( the poor family!

I'm not sure if it was an allergy or not, but that's why it's very important to take CPR and first aid courses when you're a parent, that way if a horrible situation does arise you will know what to do.

I'm planning on refreshing my courses ASAP!
