1 month old: 11 pounds and 23 inches

2 months old: 14 pounds and 24 1/2 inches

3 months old: 16 pounds and 25 1/2 inches

4 months old: 18 pounds and 26 inches

5 months old: 19 pounds and 27 inches

6 months old: 20 pounds 12 ounces and 28 inches

7 months old: 21 pounds and 28 inches

8 months old: 21 pounds and 29 inches

9 months old: 21 pounds and 29 3/4 inches

10 months old: 21 pounds and 30 inches

11 months old: 21 pounds 12 ounces and 30 inches

12 months old: 22 pounds 4 ounces and 30 inches

13 months old: 22 pounds 6 ounces and 30 1/2 inches

14 months old: 23 pounds 5 ounces and 30 1/2 inches

15 months old: 24 pounds and 30 3/4 inches

16 months old: 25 pounds and 31 inches
17 months old: 25 pounds and 31 1/2 inches

wears all 18 month and up clothes 

wears size 5-6 shoes

says the words mama, dada, doggy, ah boom (when he throws stuff), mmm and yum yum/num num when he eats, uh oh, baby

points to pictures of himself and says "baby"

mocks sounds like "ha ha" "da da" "ba ba", etc


if you clap for him doing something he does that same thing again

actually runs now

very clumsy (takes after me ;)

loves putting shoes on because he knows he will go outside

dances every time he hears music

(my sister took this video yesterday)

tries to climb on everything (oi)

loves swings but is scared of slides sometimes

skips naps some days but still goes to bed between 8 and 9

it's finally easier to put clothes on him 

(That's where he learned ahhhhh boom from. I say ahhhh when I am getting him dressed and boom when his feet/arms go through the holes)

still hates diaper changes

never falls asleep in his glider or anywhere else anymore, just his bed

smiles/laughs every time someone else laughs


loves reading but usually ends up taking the book and handing back to you over and over

loves dinos, cats, dogs and most animals


favorites shows are Fresh Beat Band and Dino Dan


has eaten fruit more this month than usual (jarred mandarin oranges in fruit juice mostly)

climbs into his toy boxes/baskets now

opens drawers and pulls stuff out even if he can't see stuff 

(he reaches with his arm over his head)


is getting really tall and realizes his tip toes help him reach better

is forever exploring his surroundings


loves dirts, flowers, water and anything else that's outside


actually lets me buzz his hair now
