Ever since getting on Pinterest I have wanted to make many of the natural cleaners. I have made dish washer soap. When I run out of laundry detergent I will be making that. Today I decided to conquer some sprays. I went to Dollar Tree (favorite store) and got some sprays bottles. I especially want to use natural products since I have a toddler, kitten and dog. The safer the better!
First, I made a mixture of vinegar and water. You combined it with baking soda on a surface you want to clean. It bubbles just like Scrubbing Bubbles. (Derived from: Homemade Ginger)
Equal parts vinegar and water. Sprinkle a surface with baking soda and spray it. Let it sit for a few minutes then, wipe clean. :)
Then, I made Miracle Cleaner. (Derived from: Modern Day Moms)
1 part dish washing liquid
2 parts Hydrogen Peroxide
Mix together and spray directly on the stain.
You can use this on grout, carpet, furniture, clothes, etc! I cleaned part of my carpet and my couch with it. It did a great job! I didn't take pictures though. I don't have anything super stained to clean. Amazing stuff! You can also soak stuff in it. :)
Then, I made a Tub and Shower cleaner. (Derived from: here)
1 1/2 cups vinegar
1 1/2 cups dish liquid
Heat vinegar in microwave until hot and pour into squirt bottle. Add the dish soap. Put the lid on and gently shake to incorporate. This cleaner melst soap scum and tub and shower buildup, clean sinks, appliances and just about anything. Just spray it on, scrub, rinse and be amazed. For tough soap scum build-up, spray the mixture on and allow it to sit as long as overnight. Then, scrub and rinse.

Haha I love this! I use a two parts water one part white distilled vinegar for fruits and veggies-it kills almost 90% of the pesticide on fruit! Amazing and all natural. Thanks for the ideas love!

ooh we used the vinegar/soap one, kinda left a sticky residue after, but actually cleaned the mess out of hard water build up. had that vinegary smell, but hey, cheap and easy way to get a clean up! :)

ReplyDeleteOh really? Mine didn't do that. Glad it cleaned though! We have BAD hard water stains here. The person that lived here before us did not care for this house. Stains everywhere (toilet, bath, etc.) I bet you could use essential oils to make it smell better. :)
