BrainStrong Prenatal review/sponsored post!

As everyone knows, I am pregnant. What you may not know is I hate prenatals. The reasons are that the ones I have are large and have a terrible taste to them. In the beginning of this pregnancy I really couldn't keep them down even though I didn't have much morning sickness. It was the size (think horse pill). Also they are disgusting chalky and have a slightly fishy taste to them.

I recently got to try BrainStrong Prenatal with DHA. They are organic. They are from a vegetarian source, not fish, so no fear of potential contaminants and no fishy flavor to them. They are easy to take even though the pills aren't tiny. They aren't chalky and they don't stick to your tongue. The DHA pill is a gel cap and the Prenatal is not but still it goes down easily. This is big deal to me since bigger/dry pills make me gag or cough them back up even when I take it with a drink. Also, beyond the actual taking of the pills, the pills themselves are absolutely amazing. They are so much better than any other prenatals on the market.

There are easy ways to help with healthy baby development. My ideas of ways to help are merely based on my pregnancies.

I think the first step is to start taking prenatals before, during and after your pregnancy. Typically you don't find out you are pregnant until after 4 weeks. If you start taking prenatals when you are trying to conceive you will ensure that in those weeks you aren't aware you are pregnant you are still providing your baby with nutrients.

I think the second step is regular prenatal doctor appointments. While they do take a lot of blood and do a lot of testing they have your yours/your baby's best interest in my mind. I have an amazing doctor/midwives. I would be lost without them.

The third is to eating healthy as much as possible from start to finish. Of course, the occasional ice cream craving doesn't count, am I right? ;) It is dairy, after all.

BrainStrong Prenatal helps make it easy for expectant moms meet these goals safely. Most of the energy your body is using for your baby is devoted strictly to his or her brain development. Most of the other prenatals on the market barely contain DHA which is something your baby depends on you for. DHA deficiencies in the mother can severely impact your baby's brain development. You can completely avoid this by taking BrainStrong Prenatal. It is a complete prenatal multi-vitamin with the highest level of folic acid and DHA available without prescription. I was provided a one month supply but I will definitely be buying some for the rest of my pregnancy.
