This month Lincoln: He has been an absolute busy body and a little bit of a pain the butt. ;) He will SWEEP a table (coffee/end table) of everything on it, even drinks. If you hold him in a store he will grab and pull things off the shelves. He broke a coffee cup in Goodwill. Ugh, this kid. He is so curious. I'm not going to lie, it's starting to get insanely hard to take photos of him. He moves way too much. It's so hard to be mad at him because he's SUCH a happy kid. HAHA. He is needy in the sense that he follows me to every room.
He was in the hospital a few times last month because he developed an infection under his belly button in his diaper. It was a huge, hard boil all of a sudden. We rushed him to the ER. Turns out it was MRSA. (MRSA stands for methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. The term is used to describe a number of strains of the bacteria, Staphylococcus aureus, that are resistant to a number of antibiotics, including methicillin. It's pretty much a staph infection that is immune to MANY medications.) He had to have it cut open and drained. He had to go to the hospital three times, wear gauze, and take heavy antibiotics that made him sick. Also, once you have has MRSA you can easily develop it again and it's very contagious. Scary stuff. :/
Milestones: He has a total of FOUR teeth growing in. All four middle, top row. He mocks very well. He mocks simple things like "mama", fart, pft like noises and he wiggles his fingers back and forth on his lips to make noises. He's been doing that since right around eight months. He has stood for a few seconds a few times. As soon as he realizes he's not touches anything he reaches for something or falls. He went to states other than Florida and Georgia. We went to Maryland! We went through South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and Maryland. He's been in 6 states and Washington D.C.! :D
Eating: This kid is an absolute pig. He eats more than Brayden does, to be honest. We don't even try to give him baby food anymore. He eats fruit, veggies, chicken and MUCH more. He is an amazing eater. It's very refreshing!
Clothing: He still wears 12-24 month old clothes with 12 months old getting tight. He's almost out of them.
Sleeping: Still no complaints about night time. He sleeps all night. He is still more difficult to get nap. He tends to not nap long enough then, passes out in his dinner sometimes. Oh my. :/
