UGLee pen review!

First off, if you don't know I'm a server at Cracker Barrel. Servers are writing at least a fourth of their shift, which can get pretty uncomfortable time after time, day after day.

I have heard about this pen in the past and was so excited I finally got a chance to try it. The UGLee Pen, an ergonomic pen, is good for everyone who writes (even just a grocery list), and is especially helpful to people who experience pain and discomfort when writing. For example those with arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, etc., and for all children who are learning to write and are developing fine motor skills. It is also helpful for special-needs children who find holding a pen or pencil properly difficult. It helps high-schoolers and college students who have to take copious notes. This pen helps keep hands and fingers from cramping. It benefits SO many people!

About: This pen was created by a doctor. Dr. Lee received his BS in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University and his MD from Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Lee has done his share of writing throughout his academic and professional life. All of the writing required by medical school and physician training took its toll. After trying just about every pen and failing to find a truly comfortable one, Dr. Lee was determined to create his own. Known to even fire his own clay pens, Dr. Lee has experimented with just about every combination of shape, texture, material, and ink mixtures in search of the optimum combination for the "Perfect Pen."

UGLee Pens are sold in packs of three, all in the barrel color of your choice. A three pack costs $19.99. UGLee Pens come standard with a super-smooth, bold, black ink. UGLee Pens are refillable.

Pros: This pen is VERY comfortable. The grip is so soft. It's very easy to hold and write with. The ink is very smooth and dark, which is easy to read when I scribble down what my guest wants to eat. The pen is light and just glides as you write with it. Love this pen! I will definitely always have one with me!

A plain non-gripped cheap pen compared to the UGLee pen.

Cons: They are a little on the pricey side but definitely worth it. I would love it if it came in different ink colors but that's not a big deal. My biggest problem with this pen is a server problem. I can NOT easily clip this pen onto/into my apron. The grip is so sticky that I have to use two hands to put it on my apron. If not, it gets lost in my pocket and my money. That suck but I'm not sure that is something they can fix. Love this pen still.
