Yay! We went to Elizabeth's birthday (here, here, and here too) last Saturday and had a blast. The party was in Fernandina Beach and boy, did we have a crazy ride to the party. On the way through Yulee (a fairly small town) and there were NO LIE like 30 cop cars, SWAT, even a small SWAT tank outside of a campground. Apparently a guy tried to kill himself and it ended up in an 18 hour problem. They eventually tear gassed the guy out. Wow. Traffic was INSANELY backed up. Then, on the way a truck with a trailer on the back started swerving all over the median and road. Then, we get to the park where the party is happening. TWO other things are going on! A kid's fest and a Shriner's convention. What the heck. Craziness. Anyways.. Look under the cut for the photos.
