Ozeri: Instavac BPA free 8 piece food storage system review!

A few months ago I got to work with Ozeri to review a bathroom scale. They sent me an email asking me if I wanted to review something else. Heck yes! This time I received the Instavac Food Storage Set. So excited!




About:
It's an 8 piece set (4 containers and 4 lids). They are for different sizes and all fit inside each other. They are SUPER easy to use with amazing results.

You put the food inside the container, close it up with the 4 tabs on each side. Then, you push with your fingers in the middle of the lid. You will hear the air escape and the small button in the middle of the green tab that will sink down when air is gone. Air brings bacteria, which makes food spoil faster. When you want to put air back into the container, you just lift up the green tab or you can just open the container. There is a wave pattern on the bottom of the container that allows fruit/veggies to remain elevated so the juices settle at the bottom and also prevent them from spoiling faster.

What we think:
I use these EVERYDAY! I get fruit and veggies from an organic co-op and these containers REALLY come in handy with making the items last even longer before we can eat them. I put my fruit in the containers as soon as I clean the fruit. Blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries are usually what I put in the containers and each last at least a week!
