Funkins Reusable Cloth Napkins for Kids Review!

Last month I received some amazing napkins that I can wait to tell you about. They are called Funkins. They are cloth napkins but can be used for much more!

About Funkins: Funkins are the inspiration of MyFunkins Founder Lisa Baumgartner, who in 2005 found herself in need of washable napkins for kids when her son Braeden’s school asked parents to help reduce school lunch waste. But there were none to be found! Eight years later, with Brett and Rachel also in school, Lisa was surprised to discover there were still no kids’ cloth napkins on the market! And so, Funkins were born. Now, when Braeden, Brett and Rachel open their lunch boxes and see their Funkins, they are reminded that mom is thinking of them. Award-winning Funkins are fun, reusable cloth napkins for kids. At 13”x15” in size, Funkins are the ideal fit for lunch boxes and perfect for mealtime at home and on the go. Kids love the cheerful patterns and with over 300 different designs, there are Funkins for everyone! This company also has art smocks, lunch bags, wet pouches, and more!

Why Funkins? Mealtime with kids is messy. It just is. In addition to being a great crumb-catcher on any table, desk or in little laps, Funkins can also serve as a protective barrier on public eating surfaces. Environmentally Responsible.  American school kids toss out a shocking 4.6 billion pounds of lunch waste every year.  Funkins are washable, reducing mealtime waste by eliminating the use of paper towels, paper napkins and disposable table liners. Schools and parents love that Funkins help to teach children important green habits for life. According to the EPA, reusing items is even better than recycling because items do not have to be reprocessed before they can be used again. Won’t get lost. Each Funkin has a hand-sewn label for your child’s name.

What we think: LOVE these napkins! They are thick but easy to fold. They are durable, easy to clean, and VERY well made. My favorite thing about them is they are absolutely adorable. What fun patterns! Both of the boys love the patterns. They fight over the animals one so we will definitely need more! Each napkin is $10. The Halloween ones are $7 right now. We will be stocking up on the holiday ones too. They have many Halloween ones that I am swooning over. We not only use them as napkins, we use them as place mats. They keep my table clean and you just throw them in the washer. Super easy!

Find them on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
