What we think: We went with medium hold so it wouldn't be too stiff or loose for Lincoln's hair. I LOVE that it held his hair still but it was still soft. Nothing worse than cement hair gel. This pomade is amazing. We needed VERY little for his hair. You can do it wet or dry. It also smells really good. Lincoln loves his "cool new Daddy hair". I absolutely recommend this is all the guys and boy moms I know.
