I am SUPER excited about this review! Uncommon Goods wrote me and asked me to do a review on their amazing gifts and household goods. I looked on their site for over an hour. There are so many unique products and designs to fall in love with. It was SO tough to decide what I wanted.
About Uncommongoods: Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, UncommonGoods is a privately-owned retailer that endeavors to feature unique jewelry, designer décor, tabletop items and handcrafted gifts created in harmony with the environment without harm to animals or people. We run all our operations out of the historic Brooklyn Army Terminal, where the lowest-paid seasonal worker starts at 50% above the minimum wage. We make it our mission to support and provide a platform for artists and designers; in fact, half of what we sell is made by hand. Most of the jewelry products, home décor and table top items we carry are created right here in
the USA, and about one-third of our entire collection incorporates recycled and/or upcycled materials. At the core of our company is a great respect for the integrity of the creative individual and the belief that it is our responsibility to use our business to impact the world in a positive way.
We received:
Brayden chose this map for his room. I LOVE it. It comes with stickers that say where they have lived, been, where their grandma lives, and more. He just put stick on there for now but is super excited to put more on. The map is laminated and REALLY high quality. I love all of the little things in each state. So informative for my five year old! I truly think it will last for many years until he is much older.
I'm As Big As Growth Chart (here): Step right up, folks. Are you taller than a Giant Panda? What about the world's longest moustache or a pool cue? Are you still waiting to pass Napoleon or are you already well on your way to towering over the average supermodel?
Filled with 2 meters-worth of quirky facts, this clever height chart allows kids big and small to measure themselves against people, creatures, and objects familiar and bizarre. This marvel of a measurement tool makes tracking the tick marks as you grow by leaps and bounds big fun! Measurements are in metric system. Made in the UK. $20.50.
This is my favorite thing that I picked. I've wanted a growth chart for my boys for a long time. This one is SO interesting. It shows what they are as tall as every centimeter. I do wish it had inches on there as well but I love it. The boys were super excited to see what they are as tall as. So, was my husband. HAHA.
Sorry the funny lighting. NO windows in this area of my house.
Tacosaurus Knee High socks (here): Throw a fiesta Jurassic-style by kicking it with these deliciously droll knee-high socks that feature a stampede of tacosaurus! Your appetite for all things dinos and tacos comes together at last in these cotton-poly-blend socks--the perfect fixin' for an unforgettable outfit. Made in South Korea. $12!
I am absolutely going to buy more from this company, especially gifts! They have so many different products and feature many artists and designers. This is one of my favorite companies that I've done a review for. Definitely check out this amazing company. What is on your WISHLIST?

Geek Equation clock (here): Learning to tell time is so grade school. Indulge your inner geek and accept a new challenge with this nerdy clock. Each numerical hour of the day is spelled out with a different mathematical notation, giving you a new mathematical boost with each time check. For nascent mathematicians and victims of the occasional memory lapse, a cheat sheet is included with each clock. Clock movement, aluminum bezel, and glass cover made in China. Clock dial and hands made in USA. Assembled in Los Angeles, CA. $30.
LOVE our new clock! We had a Christmas clock in it's place 6 months later. HAHA. We were due for an awesome new clock and this one is totally awesome AND well made. I love the sleek design.

I chose this socks s a gift for my taco loving sister. They look like they are very well made. Brayden and Lincoln think the socks are amazing and can't wait to give them to their Aunt Cookie.
Humprey the Hovering Hummingbird stake (here): Handcrafted from gleaming copper and colored glass, Humphrey the hummingbird makes a charming, handcrafted addition to your garden. With petite proportions just like the real thing, he hovers gracefully over your plants and gives your greenery a pretty little pop of personality. Humphrey was made to weather the elements and over time he will develop a gorgeous patina on his copper wings and tail. Handmade by Lisa Fida in Lowell, Maine.
This hummingbird stake is gorgeous. It's hand made by an artist, which is amazing. My nanny's favorite thing to do was sit on her porch and watch hummingbirds. I even have a hummingbird tattoo. This will make a great addition to my yard. I just need to mow my grass first! It's only $20! Amazing for such a beautiful piece of art!
